A fine-jewellery store, modernised in place.
18 Carati did not want a new website, and their Magento store was not going anywhere. So we worked the other way round: audits, exact specifications and browser-ready prototypes that the client's own developers shipped as Magento overrides. We never touched their code or servers, and the whole store moved forward anyway.

Keep the platform. Fix the store.
The owners know their Magento store inside out, and replatforming a live jewellery business is an expensive way to solve the wrong problem. The constraint became the project: everything had to improve without BYLT ever holding the keys.
- Magento, exactly where it was
- The client’s own infrastructure
- The live store and its SEO equity
- Measurement and consent
- Checkout and product presentation
- Homepage, blog and technical SEO
- The client’s own development team
- As Magento theme overrides
- From BYLT’s browser-ready deliverables
Code, database and servers: zero BYLT access, start to finish. Every deliverable crossed the boundary as a file the client could open in a browser.
The store was selling. GA4 couldn't see it.
Purchases weren't being recorded, so every euro of paid traffic looked like it produced nothing. BYLT specified a rebuilt GA4 ecommerce setup, six events end to end, with Consent Mode v2 across four signals. The client's team implemented it, and the pipeline was validated firing correctly in the browser and in GA4.
From browser audit to Magento override.
Every one of the 18 workstreams travelled the same route. No repo access, no deploy keys, no risk to a live store, and nothing lost in translation, because every decision arrived as something you could open with a double click.
18 workstreams, one roadmap.
a sample of the roadmap, not the full list
The same store, live and sharper.
A new homepage hero that sells certified diamond jewellery instead of listing it.
Built to be found, and to be trusted
A high-ticket purchase needs discovery and credibility in equal measure. The roadmap covered both: a technical SEO clean-up under the surface, and content that answers the questions a diamond buyer actually has.
- Legacy URLs remapped with permanent redirects
- Structured data across the key page templates
- An editorial blog built around buying guides and certification know-how
- The family's goldsmith story, told properly on the new about page

What changed.
Revenue from paid traffic can finally be recorded, through rebuilt GA4 ecommerce measurement
Customers can buy as guests through a shorter checkout
High-ticket product pages lead with specifications, certification and delivery answers
The homepage, blog and technical SEO foundations were modernised, live on 18carati.com
